Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm a big Nokia user, and like most of their products; and I love WP (even with all its flaws), which is why reviewing an Android device is a big step for me, and completely out of character, but oh well..<br />
<br />
As I previously mentioned in my <a href="http://aligonemobile.blogspot.com/2013/12/htc-one-unboxing-and-first-impressions.html">unboxing of the HTC one</a>, this is the only device that I've ever truly lusted after; simply for it's looks. I'm not one to care for internals and specs really; in fact I don't really care as long as it runs smoothly, but toss on a superb camera, or a brilliant screen and you have me hooked. Thankfully the HTC one delivers on both those requirements, but more on that later. <br />

Video Review of the HTC One:<br />

Hardware:</h4>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The HTC One, is hands down one of the prettiest devices I've ever seen, let alone had the pleasure to use, the beautifully crafted slab of aluminum has a solid premium finish to it that makes it feel like an "elite" device. The detailed corners, and chamfered edges ooze sexiness, while screaming class. Everything about this device has been thought through to the tiniest detail (except the power button - more on that in a bit)l the micro drilled speakers, which by the way are amazing, the gentle curve of the back of the device all packed in a very neat and thin package that one can't help but appreciate. As I just mentioned the power button placement seems a bit "off"; being placed on the upper left side of the device makes it tricky to handle and awkward to reach at times, also the nice brushed aluminum body of the device is a winder to behold; unfortunately it can easily be scratched (even with your nails) leaving some ugly lines on the phone. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyCO7hjygPAGf2xQc6WiW_DpS7VgWVgDtl-02rHprPnXp7x5bTp4Qdv7u5HCfteUeJcc8FkHZ451J06zBwYGp5HpEkOCEyS3lfjOuuAeTzRwU5K73cYaDM0oORI8oPk7B616tBawT_5_Q9/s1600/DSC04461.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyCO7hjygPAGf2xQc6WiW_DpS7VgWVgDtl-02rHprPnXp7x5bTp4Qdv7u5HCfteUeJcc8FkHZ451J06zBwYGp5HpEkOCEyS3lfjOuuAeTzRwU5K73cYaDM0oORI8oPk7B616tBawT_5_Q9/s640/DSC04461.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Camera Quality:</h4>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The HTC One took a risk, rather than going down the well beaten path of the mega-pixel race, it forged a path of its own with what HTC are calling "Ultrapixels". Regardless of what the technology is, what matters is that it works; in fact it more than just works, it works wonders. The HTC One has one fot he most pleasing cameras to use (both front and back) giving solid consistent results with beautiful images and accurate detail production. The zoom might not be the best out there, and the low light images won't compare to the pureview Lumias, but it's more than enough for everyday usage. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The front facing camera is no slouch either, getting some great images and videos (1080p), although it will come off grainy if the lighting is beneath optimal, but that's to be expected. But for all intents and purposes (meaning selfies, and video chatting), the front facing camera is more than a match for whatever you throw at it. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The main camera was equally impressive, with nice shots, and quick focus capturing (not to mention a kick ass focusing noise), however it did tend to throw the occasional blue tint on images, but these were very limited and isolated occurrences, barely worth mentioning. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Reception & Sound Quality:</h4>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Unfortunately one aspect where the HTC One struggles is cellular reception, I live in an area with relatively poor reception; and my room in general has the worst reception in the house. In my room on most of the devices I use I got a solid two or three bars on average, however with HTC One I found myself seeing the "no reception" alert more often than not. In fact I often would leave the phone outside my room just to ensure that it rings. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
On the other hand voice clarity was very clear, and the volume of the speaker was quite loud, in fact I kept turning it down sometimes since anyone standing around me could hear what was being said. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
One feature worth mentioning on the HTC One that I really liked, was the fact that the phone vibrates when the call is connected. This is a ridiculously simple feature that makes a world of difference to me, I for one get distracted easily; and sometimes call up a friend then end up talking to someone else while waiting for them to pick up. The simple vibration of the phone lets me know when they've answered the phone, without having to keep it pressed to my ear the whole time. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirYz6TSEaeLaxTJbA2KmUiXlbg1KoMV8Hwd1_rM5IxBgKYVQ3OxDwp4rM9gOhUeDyfqH3N5Ot-2ErwrPCbcnpvpD8PoaGNw0np_HAd5StwU4pjgTN8MGcs1qkl5E8KrB-qqgE84zZIOEOk/s1600/DSC04451.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirYz6TSEaeLaxTJbA2KmUiXlbg1KoMV8Hwd1_rM5IxBgKYVQ3OxDwp4rM9gOhUeDyfqH3N5Ot-2ErwrPCbcnpvpD8PoaGNw0np_HAd5StwU4pjgTN8MGcs1qkl5E8KrB-qqgE84zZIOEOk/s640/DSC04451.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Software:</h4>
<div style="text-align: left;">
(for a more detailed review of the software on the HTC One, check the video at the start of the review, as it's much to difficult to discus it all in writing). </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The more interesting part of my experience with the HTC One comes in terms of the fact that it's one of the first Android devices I've ever seriously used. To sum it up nicely, I had almost no issues with Android on the One in terms of lag, crashes or even bugginess; it turns out my fear of android was in-justified. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
In broad strokes regarding the software I loved Google now, as it kept everything I could possibly care about only a tough of a button away, with instant access to the sports teams I follow, stocks and most importantly weather conditions. It even goes through your email and offers you tracking info for packages that are on the way to you, or updates to a flight you might have.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Another honorable mention in the software side of things is the offline voice dictation, WP claims to have some sorts of voice dictation, but it's on online service that pretty much sucks; and is only available in messaging and email. Google's voice dictation on the other hand is super accurate, even picking up medical terms I was googling for my studies; and better yet it's system wide and works offline. I know the point of this isn't to be used while driving, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't help me out on the roads. </div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Conclusion:</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI8YGvW97u3VYa1u0lv15yBh-6OfnC6as5h-bSkPLPunRerOCg1dlectVX39eqJy0j78F4yRBgtMKJ-dywZ7FPLn9GVNOPbtVLxkpzeIGt2jik2XqdeEVo0pZ2W45GEOy_s7YuIU3wJuuU/s1600/DSC04462.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI8YGvW97u3VYa1u0lv15yBh-6OfnC6as5h-bSkPLPunRerOCg1dlectVX39eqJy0j78F4yRBgtMKJ-dywZ7FPLn9GVNOPbtVLxkpzeIGt2jik2XqdeEVo0pZ2W45GEOy_s7YuIU3wJuuU/s640/DSC04462.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The HTC One is one of the greatest devices I've ever used, it indeed is the full package in terms beauty and brains. With the few things that I ad to complain about (which are hardly issues, short of the reception problem); I would call this device near perfect. And I'm glad this is the phone I chose to start my Android journey, as it has only left me wanting more great things, with very little to feel disappointed about. And I can't wait for this year's flagship. </div>

<br />
As part of the HTC one coverage we'll be doing, here's a
video demonstrating how to insert the Micro-Sim into the one. If you've
owned an iPhone or a Lumia the process is very similar, the one uses the
same sim tray ejector/paper clip to eject the tray.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Simply grab the pin and insert it into the hole on the left side of the device and apply pressure. Tada!</div>

Earlier this week I finally got my hands on the HTC One, which admittedly isn't the freshest phone on the market but is a very special phone for me. The One is the FIRST Android phone I've ever used as a daily device; and it's also the only Android device that has ever had me lusting after it, wanting to own one.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/VuzP7zbK8Ps" width="560"></iframe>
</div>
For those of you who follow me anywhere on the internet, I make no secret of my leanings towards Nokia and Windows Phone, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate and admire another product/OS; which is exactly the case with the one. <br />
<br />
The HTC One is still HTC's flagship device, and rightfully so, the device has a stunning 4.7" full HD 1080p screen with a ridiculous ppi of 468. What really got me on this phone though was the design, the beautiful crafted aluminum body that gently curves in your hand is a glory to behold; and is easily one of the prettiest devices I've ever used.The rounded corners, the speaker grills and the chamfered edges are all a beauty to behold, and ooze elegance and a "premium feel". What's more is that this beautiful body packs a decently sized 2,300 Mah battery, as well as a quadcore snapdragon 600 processor with two Gbs of ram, which miraculously still only way a mere 143 grams!<br />
<br />
So be sure to check out the unboxing video above, and the images below for a closer look at the device; and expect a full review as well as my thoughts on Android (coming form a Nokia/WP user) soon! If you have any questions, comments or thoughts be sure to leave them down below and I'll do my best to get back to you!<br />

<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Vines are amazing time wasters, and excellent forms of entertainment. The 6 second clips of comedy, special effects or every day life are fun to watch; and you'll probably want to share them with your friend occasionally. Unfortunately Internet Explorer on Windows Phone doesn't support playing Vines in the browser, meaning you're essentially sending your friends a pointless link. Fret not however as there is a fix!</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To get Vine links to play on Windows Phone, you have to run them through a 3rd party app, <a href="http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/6sec/f3e56189-4be6-4e43-9ea4-c85c08a1c8ba">6sec to be specific</a><span id="goog_2031597258"></span><span id="goog_2031597259"></span><a href="http://www.blogger.com/"></a>. 6sec is needed since using a bit of trickery you can get Vine links that open in your browser to redirect into 6sec for viewing. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first step is to add this simple line of code as a favorite in the browser:</div>
<br />
<div dir="rtl" style="text-align: right;">
<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #cc0000;">javascript:location.href="sixsec://url/"+encodeURIComponent(encodeURIComponent(location.href)) </span></div>
</div>
<div dir="rtl" style="text-align: right;">
<br /></div>
(note: to save this as a favorite, first open any webpage; eg: cnn.com, choose add to favorites, then edit the favorite, renaming it and changing the address to match the code above).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp67OgifQP2AOMvmFzexHGsF6FA0fA3R5s2Ck6o1gyO11EPUvrDfzqPmNQjnjuV3A6RHcIHvouTML_xy8FdXheiLPGND5hTT4eUB4cuR2zB4r8wIvpDva4XnzU2WjIIrQw8goB8wmJIwFc/s1600/wp_ss_20131105_0004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp67OgifQP2AOMvmFzexHGsF6FA0fA3R5s2Ck6o1gyO11EPUvrDfzqPmNQjnjuV3A6RHcIHvouTML_xy8FdXheiLPGND5hTT4eUB4cuR2zB4r8wIvpDva4XnzU2WjIIrQw8goB8wmJIwFc/s1600/wp_ss_20131105_0004.jpg" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Once saved as a favorite, you're practically done; anytime someone sends you a Vine link, open the link (it'll open in your browser); then head to your favorites and choose the Favorited code you just saved above; this should force 6sec open, and have it instantly direct you to the linked vine. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibu4jnF1RwV2gYswDJAnfcrErO4tAIFZ3SLkLLPjOs3uglR4vVWCFNtwrHTH3QOsEWW4w7MlFIcQ3gKM2XgLg8vFFgAA6ZFBbX9i_jMvGJv8lWUQ0mnzEI3zhKVSPlT41un2rcTFho48x4/s1600/wp_ss_20131105_0003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibu4jnF1RwV2gYswDJAnfcrErO4tAIFZ3SLkLLPjOs3uglR4vVWCFNtwrHTH3QOsEWW4w7MlFIcQ3gKM2XgLg8vFFgAA6ZFBbX9i_jMvGJv8lWUQ0mnzEI3zhKVSPlT41un2rcTFho48x4/s1600/wp_ss_20131105_0003.jpg" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This might not be the most elegant solution, but it works; so if you're in the habit of sharing Vines with your friends then this is definitely worth it. Until WP get's a smart browser that can automatically redirect you to the relevant app (like it does with marketplace links) this is your best shot.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3BpjVSXnVm4YSOGWD4-5PJVOUTIGjFwNkZ-XoLSNwnn7dqnIHnCFVUBO98J3D3yOY8SsJT3i8N_LyLvu5OEWx2DVhwllDfuBpjQsvpoJOjAqo1rowU5vabkkm5C1ys0ciQGzWv1fpj1zD/s1600/DSC04373.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3BpjVSXnVm4YSOGWD4-5PJVOUTIGjFwNkZ-XoLSNwnn7dqnIHnCFVUBO98J3D3yOY8SsJT3i8N_LyLvu5OEWx2DVhwllDfuBpjQsvpoJOjAqo1rowU5vabkkm5C1ys0ciQGzWv1fpj1zD/s640/DSC04373.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Windows Phone is a pretty solid OS in terms of stability, but occasionally it craps out in random subtle ways that you might not realize for a while. One issue that occasionally occurs is that your Marketplace live tile will stop notifying you of new app updates, leaving you in the cold when it comes to bug fixes and new features. Of course you can still update apps manually by opening them in the store and having it check for updates; but fear not, there is a fix!<br />
<br />
Basically the fix involves "refreshing" the store live tile and reminding it of available updates, this is done by:<br />
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li>Find any app that has a pending update, and open it in the store <b>do not update the app yet</b>, just make sure your phone registers that there is an update available, then exit the store. </li>
<li>Unpin the Store live tile from your start screen</li>
<li>Soft reset your phone by holding the volume down and power button together for about ten seconds. (note this will also reset your phone's clock, so be sure to fix the time once you reboot).- This will NOT delete any of your data. </li>
<li>Pin the store tile back to your home screen and wait. (it might take several hours for the first updates to appear, as the store doesn't constantly check for updates).</li>
</ol>
Hopefully that should fix any issues you had with the store not notifying you of new updates.</div>

Anyone who was planning on getting a Galaxy Gear smart watch (and wasn't put off by the lack of detailed notifications), but didn't have a Note 3 now has a reason to go get one. Samsung have begun releasing the firmware update for the Gear that allows it to pair with other Galaxy devices besides the Note 3.<br />
<br />
The latest update allows it to pair with the S4, S3 and Note 2; which should drastically increase the Gear's target market.The update also pushes the gear to Android 4.3.<br />
<br />
If you happen to fit the criteria above, and were waiting for your device to be supported, go ahead and grab one from the link below:<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin34Tb5S6ET2IjSg879u2eEFdg3dZxPL0LzILjd_4RZyLXX1M_B1nOU8lXnkNL24Opr6addm30ud10XSMQW19ZyErb8z_-S-5oJmXETvVNn8kx2j-zg7HpawKFH4Xd8InDCsVT6U80PHWd/s1600/2128-RANGE-PAGE-DUAL-SIM-1-jpg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="286" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin34Tb5S6ET2IjSg879u2eEFdg3dZxPL0LzILjd_4RZyLXX1M_B1nOU8lXnkNL24Opr6addm30ud10XSMQW19ZyErb8z_-S-5oJmXETvVNn8kx2j-zg7HpawKFH4Xd8InDCsVT6U80PHWd/s400/2128-RANGE-PAGE-DUAL-SIM-1-jpg.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Dual sim phones are undeniably an important part of the mobile device industry, especially in the Middle East and East Asia where it's common for most people to have multiple lines. The issue however arises when you decide which phone gets to get a dual sim variant and which doesn't, I personally am not a fan of allocating the lower end of the device spectrum for dual sim phones; and here's why. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The reason most people carry two lines/numbers (outside the US) besides the need for a </span>business phone and a personal number is usually a cost cutting measure. In the Middle East for example there's a huge variation between the price per minute/second for a call to the same mobile network, as opposed to a friend on a different network, in fact sometimes same network calls are practically free (keep in mind we're talking about pre-paid lines with no expensive monthly/yearly commitments). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Therefore it's become common practice in the area to carry two phones or two lines, to keep the cost of your communications down (especially in the younger/college aged community). Personally I don't bother with the hassle of having to lines for a number of reasons mainly that it's not worth the hassle of having to carry two phones at all times and charge them up etc. (I'm a very lazy guy). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the sake of argument though, let's assume I wanted to purchase a dual sim phone to cater to my needs, and avoid the hassle of having to carry two phones at all times, what are my options? Instead of having the option to carry one "good" (high end) phone and a second cheap $20 phone, my options are instantly limited, and the selections aren't very nice. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Playing along with Nokia's strategy of dual sim phones, technically my only option would be to pick a phone from the Asha lineup (S40) or from the S30 Dumb/Feature phone segment, not the prettiest of selections for a guy who likes to do a million things on his phone. This is essentially the problem, why is it assumed that a dual sim phone should be a low end device? This has been Nokia's strategy for a while now, even with S^3 which was also never graced with a dual sim phone. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Samsung have partially gotten the equation right, with their "duos" line up which offers a decent selection of features with the dual sim capabilities; so when will Nokia decide to do the same (or even one-up them)? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Recently Qualcomm have announced their latest series of <a href="http://mynokiablog.com/2013/06/20/qualcomm-announces-six-new-snapdragon-200-series-compatible-with-wp/">Snapdragon 200 processors which bring (you guessed it) dual sim support to Windows Phone</a>, however once again if you read the specifications of the chip you'll see that this isn't designated for your high end (lumia 920/820- like) device. Most probably we'd end up with a variant of the Lumia 520 9or if we're lucky the 620) with dual sim capabilities, and that won't really cut it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Why shouldn't you make a dual sim variant of your flagship (or runner up) phone? I understand there are related costs to creating another variant of a device in production (besides allocating the machines and factory time); but a flagship device is supposed to be your best and biggest hit with your consumers right? So why should you alienate a portion of your consumers and force them to buy an inferioirly specced device, or god forbid drive them into your competitor's arms?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
*keep in mind that the biggest argument to advocate low end dual sim devices, is that they are more common with the people looking for a cheaper solution, which is true; but at the same time people with *enough* money to spend also want a dual sim phone (hello business men!).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
what do YOU (yes you!) have to say on the topic? </div>
</div>

BlackBerry have just opened their first ever retail store in the MEA area, Dubai to be specific in the famous Dubai Mall.<br />
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #222222; display: inline !important; float: none; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">Blackberry today opened its first official BlackBerry-branded retail store in the Middle East, expanding its presence and bringing BlackBerry even closer to customers in the region. The 1,000+ square foot store, located in the world-famous Dubai Mall in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is operated in partnership with Axiom Telecom.</span></blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #222222; display: inline !important; float: none; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;">Located on level two of the world’s largest mall, near the Dubai Metro Link and Bloomingdale’s department store, the BlackBerry Store is designed to provide customers with a first-class, authentic BlackBerry shopping experience. Through Axiom, the store will also offer services such as free software upgrades, data back-up and transfer solutions, product set-up, service collection and warranty verification, as well as service and repair logistics.</span> <br />
</blockquote>
With BlackBerry launching their own stores in the area only Microsoft (and Google- who don't have any brick & mortar stores) are then only ones missing from the area, hopefully we'll see a couple stores pop up there as well. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNCBfNsVRkqXz7EhyphenhyphenRNYVMFXuvLjt9W_j7Yc8jur3JLgJFQwrRmbL2batxxdALq7JI6v9TJmEeVC3rQxtQIdwitbfSgxYF41trI6amgP1NWD4Hz_gJH3ITq_g5PU8BeAYQnLMkusaQWMdH/s1600/Eos+Sensor.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="602" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNCBfNsVRkqXz7EhyphenhyphenRNYVMFXuvLjt9W_j7Yc8jur3JLgJFQwrRmbL2batxxdALq7JI6v9TJmEeVC3rQxtQIdwitbfSgxYF41trI6amgP1NWD4Hz_gJH3ITq_g5PU8BeAYQnLMkusaQWMdH/s640/Eos+Sensor.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In case you've been hiding somewhere and missed all the Nokia EOS action that went down today, here's a quick recap of all the juicy pics you missed out on. First off the EOS comes with a HUGE-ASS (yes I'm allowed to say the "A" word) camera module/sensor on the back to house all its imaging goodness (rumored to be 41 megapixels).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Of course a huge sensor means that inevitably there will be a bump/hump on the back of the device, of which there is plenty. However Nokia have gone with a circular hump design 9similar to the 925's) rather than the rectangular look of the previous camera kings, the N8 and 808. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To recap on the rumored specs of the phone why not watch me tell you all about it, in video mode :O</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Without further ado, the rest of the pictures: <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxxhriFWtBOpvODFUUNMKVc7CxODvjyio7lQwvCk5o0KovDvTQf7BvsWWkSTN7kJ34Xy4GfEwQbG6szXHmJaWoczMy2iq78fYcSiToqAFK54CZSyM6iTsPN3hDJ9xAHKOyFzDhbiWs6npw/s1600/westeros-map.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxxhriFWtBOpvODFUUNMKVc7CxODvjyio7lQwvCk5o0KovDvTQf7BvsWWkSTN7kJ34Xy4GfEwQbG6szXHmJaWoczMy2iq78fYcSiToqAFK54CZSyM6iTsPN3hDJ9xAHKOyFzDhbiWs6npw/s640/westeros-map.jpg" width="320" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One of my greatest problems while reading the Songs of Fire and Ice Series (as a book reader I hate referring to it as "Game of Thrones"- unfortunately few people seem to know the true name of the series); is the fact that besides the countless characters making it almost impossible to know *exactly* what's going on (at least until your memory is jogged by the first few paragraphs of each chapter) I had no grasp of the world's geography. A condition made even worse by the fact that I'm reading the books on my kindle; meaning I don't have that useful map at the start of my books (nor the luxury to flip back and forth to it). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In my deluded mind I had always assumed the layout of the world (which I can't seem to find a real name for) was similar to a map of North America, with Canada representing all that's north of the wall (is that racist?). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Which is exactly why my mind was blown when I saw some maps of the kingdom, it turns out the "Seven Kingdoms/Westeros" are really a thin vertical strip of land, and not the wide sprawling from New-York to California mass that I had in mind. What troubled me most was trying to get a grasp of where<b> * CAUTION! SPOILERS FOLLOW!* </b> Dany was conquering and freeing slaves in relation to the kingdoms. Specifically as to trying to predict exactly which part of the kingdom she would attack first once she crossed the Narrow Sea. ( I'm currently 80% into book 3/ "A Storm of Swords" so anything can happen... )</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So enough of my blabbering, onto some of the greatest maps to help you understand your storyline better (hopefully you're reading the books, as they seem to be a million times more amazing than the show). Unfortunately the world doesn't have a full map that covers future cities and past (as the author can at any moment add another city to Dany's conquest perhaps) but here are some helpful visual aides:</div>

Besides the one above via<a href="http://univarn.blogspot.com/2011/04/five-things-you-need-to-know-game-of.html"> A Life in Equinox</a>, which gives a decent representation of the 7 kingdoms, as well as the respective lord/king of each area, there is a full scale interactive map which also allows you to follow the conquests, campaigns and movements of each character from <a href="http://quartermaester.info/">http://quartermaester.info/</a><br />

So that's pretty much it, hope you guy found it useful, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the story so far (regardless of whether you're reading the books or watching the show), and do share who you're favorite character is.<br />
<br />
*Oh and if anyone here has read the books AND watched the show then let me know if you've noticed any major discrepancies in the story lines? So far my biggest issue (without watching the any of the show) is how Renly and Loras are so obviously gay in the TV show, while the book does nothing more than subtly hint at it (3 books in).<br />
<br />
Cheers :)</div>

<div class="tr_bq">
A while back I posted about how to install apps from outside the marketplace onto your Windows Phone 7 or 8 device, in case you missed it check out the posts down below (plus videos!)</div>
<br />
Step by Step Instructions can be found <a href="http://aligonemobile.blogspot.com/2012/04/how-to-jailbreaksideload-onto-your.html">HERE</a><br />
<br />
<br />
I constantly got some questions regarding how this would affect users devices in terms of support, updates and others; so here;s a quick run down.<br />
<br />
To make things clear enabling a developer unlocked account on a Windows Phone is completely legal, and allowed; it doesn't "hack" your phone in any way, it simply allows your Live ID to install unauthorized apps through your PC rather than only allowing marketplace apps.<br />
<br />
Will this affect future updates on my Windows Phone Device?<br />
No, your WP device will continue to receive software and application updates as before (however side-loaded apps CANNOT be updated though the marketplace).<br />
<blockquote>
<br />-Will this in any way "brick" my WP device?<br />Absolutely not, as mentioned this is a completely legal and safe process, so don't worry.</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
-Will this work on my XXX Windows Phone?<br />YES! This process works on ALL Windows Phone devices, regardless of the OS (7.0/7.5/7.8/8 etc.) or manufacturer (Nokia/HTC/Samsung/ZTE etc)</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
-Is this process reversible?<br />Although there is no need to "reverse" the process since nothing is changed it is indeed reversible.</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
-Will this void my Warranty?<br />No, technically your hardware warranty should still be active, since you're not modifying the software in any way; however some beta apps may lead to bugginess on your WP device, so install your apps carefully.</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
-My device says I've reached the app limit, what now?<br />The free .edu developers account has a maximum limit of installing 10 side-loaded apps at once, there is no way around this; the only solution is to delete an app and replace it with another.</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
-Is this a permanent solution?<br />Sort of, your Live ID needs to verify the .edu account it's linked to every year; meaning as long as you have a working .edu email address you won't have any trouble, you may be prompted once a year to re-verrify your .edu email.</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
-Will this affect my battery life, phone performance, speed etc. ?<br />Absolutely not, as mentioned before; some beta software however may increase battery drainage.</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
-What if I purchased a new Windows Phone device?<br />As mentioned the only thing modified in this process is the Live ID; meaning that once you sign into your new WP device with the same Live ID you can instantly side-load apps, without having to repeat any of the steps. </blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
-What type of PC/Operating System do I need?<br />For Windows Phone 7 Devices any OS is fine, for WP8 devices you MUST have a Windows 8 PC capable of running the Windows Phone 8 SDK</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
-What if I have a Mac?<br />Tough luck, the process requires a functioning Windows device (see previous questions). </blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
-I don't have a .Edu email address, what can I do?<br />Unfortunately not much; there is no other option, short of asking a friend to use his/her .Edu email. Sorry. </blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
-What sort of App files can my WP side-load?<br />the WP app format is .XAP (pronounced Zap)<br /><br /><br />-Where can I download pirated games?!<br />Don't, support app developers. Download Beta software and tweaks from the XDA developers blog</blockquote>

Microsoft have put a lot of work into their latest baby, a completely redesigned Facebook app for Windows Phone 8. One that admittedly loses its Metro roots a "tiny" bit, but trust me it's for the better, as the saying goes; "Function over Form".<br />
<br />
The new app brings loads of new features to the desperately lacking Facebook app. Mainly the ability to now share other people's status updates and posts; also included is the new layout which brings swiping to the right for your "dashboard" and to the left for your online friends available to chat.<br />
<br />
The app also has its own spin on comments by posting the most recent comment at the top of the page, with the eldest comment at the bottom; which may seem a bit dissorrienting at first, but is pretty awesome. The app also brings the much needed "pull to refresh" option throughout (including messages, notifications, friend requests and the news feed of course).<br />
<br />
The app however is still in an open beta mode, meaning anyone can download it; but you just won't find it in the marketplace. You'll have to use a direct link, which thankfully I was thoughtful enough to include in this post. Enjoy :)<br />

A lot of you out there are big Tumblr fans, and for good reason; where else can you get your fix of crazy Gifs, cool pictures and inappropriate comments (besides reddit). Well the official Tumblr app for Windows Phone has finally been released, and it's pretty damn awesome!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The app comes with a simple clean interface that allows you to switch between your dashboard/feed and the explore page. Coolest fact of all is that Gifs play instantly on both while scrolling! (check out the video if you don't believe me).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The app is extremely smooth and well written and has a feature unavailable on any other platform, the app can change your lockscreen (and the live tile) to match the latest images from your Tumblr feed!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Grab the app for free from over here:</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_uZM-qPSICoAb5LxVo7AZgXO4vdnWNf13oHiP0CPnf6nFzuqD7j8O9aOWNe9y9kogCV8QqYHJQnEf4OJMa-rkUYeILETXbZEw6Ir0tv6Vl9eDUPV1JaIaMtpVGO7xaq9QVIsDjQJpJSlo/s1600/Untitled.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="382" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_uZM-qPSICoAb5LxVo7AZgXO4vdnWNf13oHiP0CPnf6nFzuqD7j8O9aOWNe9y9kogCV8QqYHJQnEf4OJMa-rkUYeILETXbZEw6Ir0tv6Vl9eDUPV1JaIaMtpVGO7xaq9QVIsDjQJpJSlo/s640/Untitled.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Just because you never give your friends your Facebook password doesn't mean your account is impenetrable; personally I've accepted the fact that no account is safe, no matter what measures you take. However there's a very simple way to hack/access anyone's email, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube (and any other online service you can imagine) without typing a single line of code. <br />
<br />
All that's needed is about 30 seconds of access on your "friends" laptop; and from there countless amounts of information is instantly accessible. Sure we all like to keep our laptops and PC's close; but how many times has a friend asked to "google something real quick" or check their email? Just because you sign out of your accounts doesn't mean you're safe.<br />
<br />
The real danger is Chrome's "auto-fill password"; and I'm not talking about the risk of having your friend simply click "log-in" on an already filled out form, there's a very simple way to view all your passwords and usernames in plain text; and it's frighteningly easy. <br />
<br />
Chrome's auto-fill saves me loads of headaches, when trying to remember which password goes where; but it's also a security nightmare. By simply heading into the settings (of a computer with auto-fill enabled- and most people have it enabled) you can view each and every single password plus the username. <br />
<br />
In Chrome head to settings (the wrench icon)> Show Advanced Settings > and hit Managed Saved Passwords (or just type this into the browser: <a href="chrome://settings/passwords">chrome://settings/passwords</a> ). From there every single password and username for any site you've ever saved is visible; in plain text (hit "show" next to the hidden password to see in plain text). This is all accessible without being prompted for a single password, or security authentication.<br />
<br />The moral is, either turn off Auto-fill passwords, or watch who you give your laptop to; stay safe stay secure. </div>

Temple Run has finally hit the Windows Phone 8 marketplace, so here's a quick overview of how it looks! Off the top the gram is pretty smooth and runs nicely, in fact I don't see why anyone is complaining; the graphics look just fine.<br />
The "bad graphics" people are complaining about is probably because they've gotten used to the newer better graphics of Temple Run 2. According to most people the graphics are pretty much the same of those from iOS and Android.<br />
What do you guys think?<br />
Grab temple run for your WP8 device from here: <a href="http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/temple-run/1a7cb5f8-792a-4992-b07a-83874c0795ae">http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/temple-run/1a7cb5f8-792a-4992-b07a-83874c0795ae</a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hitman Absolution; the latest edition of the hit Hitman series (see what I did there?) released last November is a pretty cool game; here are some quick thoughts about the game.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqBljbozGbZXmgPF98Y7Dwosf1fiYcU6Ni8UMXofAYG5FI004nEmmRg16ldBBoMpiQ_YenyjLYZk9J43WQgWOrTIfcbc3npCE1dec92T59aMxsNG1uL6fU7iUkZ2NsJPipRQekeP2I2QSx/s1600/Hitman+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqBljbozGbZXmgPF98Y7Dwosf1fiYcU6Ni8UMXofAYG5FI004nEmmRg16ldBBoMpiQ_YenyjLYZk9J43WQgWOrTIfcbc3npCE1dec92T59aMxsNG1uL6fU7iUkZ2NsJPipRQekeP2I2QSx/s640/Hitman+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
First off, I haven't played any previous version of the game, so I'm completely new to the story line/the whole agent 47 deal. Getting into the story was quite simple, as the tutorial was instructive yet not overly boring. The controls were a mix between predictable/usual and awkward positioned; such as the insistence to use the "Q" button at random times; and the lack of consistency between whether "E" is to interact or "F". <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzGZL4nf3R6Id5nxKxZ2OtkE4y8zks-TQ00ET6h93GH3ddvdVcxj8Y1WWCBeZyN8vlpTBkEVPCwwjoZcc-ohlMNYs8qUFDTGYzl6HeAb3pFQV1EprIvx_Avbv6jd7V7VXVSC1uadSLmuCI/s1600/Hitman+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzGZL4nf3R6Id5nxKxZ2OtkE4y8zks-TQ00ET6h93GH3ddvdVcxj8Y1WWCBeZyN8vlpTBkEVPCwwjoZcc-ohlMNYs8qUFDTGYzl6HeAb3pFQV1EprIvx_Avbv6jd7V7VXVSC1uadSLmuCI/s640/Hitman+5.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
More importantly on the graphics side the only word to describe them is "stunning". Seriously, the screenshots taken below are running on medium quality on my "decent- but not gaming performance laptop" so I can't help but smile when I think of what the highest setting looks like.<br />
The work rendering itself reminds me most of Batman Arkham Asylum/City as it has the same general look and gloom; and slight softness to people; but of course Hitman Absolution is not an open world game. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-NPLxCnZJPc3S2mby6tG55PodE55ofZ-eZ-Junfdn52QAo1_LsaooLErdzOL6PrsY7roYBe_0HzG-VGJdlrkZRUBvuNBUG74UemDbjMNGiPjj3R6MY-BYgedZKLQ2Ercthy7eZHCi-Jxl/s1600/Hitman+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-NPLxCnZJPc3S2mby6tG55PodE55ofZ-eZ-Junfdn52QAo1_LsaooLErdzOL6PrsY7roYBe_0HzG-VGJdlrkZRUBvuNBUG74UemDbjMNGiPjj3R6MY-BYgedZKLQ2Ercthy7eZHCi-Jxl/s640/Hitman+4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
From an actual game-play point of view I was surprised by the fact that there is no strict way to complete the level, there are multiple different ways to take down your targets, all while changing your wardrobe a couple times to blend in with the crowd. Each costume you obtain gives you access to certain privileged locations, and will decrease/increase suspicion from certain people (mainly increasing suspicion from the group of people you're impersonating). <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRmbPTBj8XAJMrC_KVvl-9pWzClpaK1d95UG4odaswK95LteLBS3iGLrjkMykpao7U7YdjKspswnhOKBurh3ZkfN1LkrKarafz33nUm9GZ9zFRnB1Y7PP5jWz5r45rcpJqLiMhL64OoGh4/s1600/Hitman+7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRmbPTBj8XAJMrC_KVvl-9pWzClpaK1d95UG4odaswK95LteLBS3iGLrjkMykpao7U7YdjKspswnhOKBurh3ZkfN1LkrKarafz33nUm9GZ9zFRnB1Y7PP5jWz5r45rcpJqLiMhL64OoGh4/s640/Hitman+7.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The game has a scoring system throughout which tracks your progress and adds/deducts points depending on how you compose yourself (deductions for: unnecessary killings, getting spotted, killing civilians etc; points granted for: Hiding bodies, Head shots, completing objectives etc.). Gaining points/rank will unlock abilities that increase Agent 47's skills; such as the ability to kill faster, reload quicker or sneak around quieter. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYVkPnb7V0DfGIx_3flFH-7LnwupuPNgNDdam_S0Mbtvz_F3wMhnm9oW4ObEm8_OVHxC-mV1b4aIdNPoYO6REzbDAL-pfFlRVwhggJxKPjqJ6NklhvSzdBjDgMlex2gk1Ivgy8ksAJuyzg/s1600/Hitman.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYVkPnb7V0DfGIx_3flFH-7LnwupuPNgNDdam_S0Mbtvz_F3wMhnm9oW4ObEm8_OVHxC-mV1b4aIdNPoYO6REzbDAL-pfFlRVwhggJxKPjqJ6NklhvSzdBjDgMlex2gk1Ivgy8ksAJuyzg/s640/Hitman.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
All in all so far the game is pretty cool, the story line isn't boring at all; but it's just missing that one "<b>X"</b> factor; the simplest way to put it is that I have no compulsion to carry on to the next level once I complete the one I'm playing. What I'm trying to say is that I'm yet to get "sucked in to the game" which is great for my mom and those who want to me to constantly run errands; but not so great to the gamer inside.<br />
But those are just my own two-cents, feel free to drop your own down below.</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3zpJRXa4CA8rs2xIjEWRhKiQ0Us8IKT4PNS0DwJgLHiPPjWzfDpQVtq063SEqD3juHiPv6arLk24oqnZ0Tu9VXthW0l7CUIfAa8Aj84MIAnxujYlC6bZAYR0T-nMpgulDDZZN1xVNWu_j/s1600/Zeusmos4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3zpJRXa4CA8rs2xIjEWRhKiQ0Us8IKT4PNS0DwJgLHiPPjWzfDpQVtq063SEqD3juHiPv6arLk24oqnZ0Tu9VXthW0l7CUIfAa8Aj84MIAnxujYlC6bZAYR0T-nMpgulDDZZN1xVNWu_j/s320/Zeusmos4.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</div>
Ever since <a href="http://aligonemobile.blogspot.com/2012/12/installous-is-no-more-hackulous-packs.html">Hackulous shut down taking installous down with it</a>, people have been on the search for a proper alternative for installous. I've read countless articles talking about VVShare and App cake; well let me spare you the trouble THEY SUCK!<br />
VVShare? With its fancy "Direct Downloads" guess what the speeds don't go over 50 kb/s (that's if you're lucky) and it restarts constantly for no reason at all; making it a nightmare to use even to download the simplest of apps.What about AppCake you say? You mean besides the horrible bugginess that causes it to crash every 5 seconds, and the non responsive built in browser which takes forever to redirect you to a third party hosting site? How about the fact that it doesn't even download the files properly? Rather than go on and raise my blood pressure even more, and risk ending my life before completing this article; I'll go ahead and tell you the one app that you'll need.<br />
<br />
One word: <b>Zeusmos. </b>Zeusmos is your all in one replacement for installous; it comes with a clean layout, responsive UI and is actually in fricken English!!! The app supports searching for IPA files online and downloading them from 3rd party hosting clients (just like installous did), you have all the same functionalities (even the same captcha generator) so without explaining myself any further get Zeusmos.<br />
To install Zeusmos simply go to Cydia and add "<b>ihacksrepo.com" </b>to the sources; after that search for "Zeusmos" from within Cydia and install it.<br />

<br />
Windows Phone 8 is one of the more secure OSes out there, in fact just like WP7 it has yet to be hacked in the general sense of the word. However there are ways to install apps on to your phone that aren't from the marketplace; which is the definition of side-loading (or as iOS users have grown to call it; jailbreaking).<br />
<br />
The process is quite simple, to side-load apps on WP8 you require a developers account from Microsoft; you can get a FREE one if you are a student with an active .edu account; simply follow these instructions:<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://aligonemobile.blogspot.com/2012/04/how-to-jailbreaksideload-onto-your.html">http://aligonemobile.blogspot.com/2012/04/how-to-jailbreaksideload-onto-your.html</a></div>
</blockquote>
After creating your App hub account simply follow the directions in the video down below and enjoy:<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGdf9lJfw46N0qP_hQJriuagSVBghe8xPYlSdaTV8mZuPGuP3jv-MoZ-4s9ZXbT5QjPOhiVZ0_mAvAYMRumh0m5UX7TZmpX2v_DY8V82QOmikj31Vjlt-JBWfeFq-KXcTSV-WnG8dHlNWL/s1600/Screenshot+(52).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGdf9lJfw46N0qP_hQJriuagSVBghe8xPYlSdaTV8mZuPGuP3jv-MoZ-4s9ZXbT5QjPOhiVZ0_mAvAYMRumh0m5UX7TZmpX2v_DY8V82QOmikj31Vjlt-JBWfeFq-KXcTSV-WnG8dHlNWL/s640/Screenshot+(52).jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Personally I get a bit weirded out when I play music on VLC; not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's just so dull. Music is beautiful, so why shouldn't it be played by something equally beautiful? Which is why I think I've finally found my solution, using the Xbox Music app that comes with Xbox Smartglasses. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinR5vTXBQD7UeIUfjodIpTchZNV2sO-fhMj8j_xuoGOYKLPQXm7a_6D2vQPjBYYEzpDdCxPHda8i8Mf1lem9NXOduIPGL_O_CGRm1y-5alfX1fdKX6d9qk9ZxqvGRyuFh7H9iPbJ8-MMML/s1600/Screenshot+(53).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinR5vTXBQD7UeIUfjodIpTchZNV2sO-fhMj8j_xuoGOYKLPQXm7a_6D2vQPjBYYEzpDdCxPHda8i8Mf1lem9NXOduIPGL_O_CGRm1y-5alfX1fdKX6d9qk9ZxqvGRyuFh7H9iPbJ8-MMML/s640/Screenshot+(53).jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The interface like almost all Windows 8 designed apps is beautiful and simple to navigate, the app itself combines your own library with the music store in on tab. Meaning on the left side of the screen you have your library/playlists, while scrolling to the right will show you recommended/top selling music in the Xbox music store. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhloHxF2ge3n6DgbShlYV8QxSY9a0rBYFjTCAs9B0zEmvIbUQG-0CPf5o2QKcRxEmwWZsX6mpU5P0notbGXh0slRWv9A2mEaqeALutoxSJ3aR2kOne_j_hyJ597jq4t4Y7GZjN9iLSj6vPL/s1600/Screenshot+(54).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhloHxF2ge3n6DgbShlYV8QxSY9a0rBYFjTCAs9B0zEmvIbUQG-0CPf5o2QKcRxEmwWZsX6mpU5P0notbGXh0slRWv9A2mEaqeALutoxSJ3aR2kOne_j_hyJ597jq4t4Y7GZjN9iLSj6vPL/s640/Screenshot+(54).jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Viewing any song that's now playing will bring up the screen seen above; with random generated pictures of the artist shuffling in the background (or the sidebar if you pinned it to the side of the screen). scrolling to the right will give you additional info about the artist including a full bio page, latest albums, and additional albums with direct links to purchase them from the Xbox music store... pretty neat. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgplfBDPqX3eMf3Ka_qJr4zcgx6BzRIHNS8b0FlHXhm5biHI1fd7egvcLGoG7nNSgURsckWazZSQqlBzd9PZIqBVn4ak6m-FzRTpaPCscn4l-FlDSqWdRlI4mEqKtRRm67kvQJIj8BviEEd/s1600/Screenshot+(55).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgplfBDPqX3eMf3Ka_qJr4zcgx6BzRIHNS8b0FlHXhm5biHI1fd7egvcLGoG7nNSgURsckWazZSQqlBzd9PZIqBVn4ak6m-FzRTpaPCscn4l-FlDSqWdRlI4mEqKtRRm67kvQJIj8BviEEd/s640/Screenshot+(55).jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Of course you also have the option to play a "Smart DJ Mix" which compiles a playlist from artists similar to the one you're listening to (or more tracks from the same artist), which is usually pretty accurate at detecting what mood of music you feel like listening too (plus it's free!).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9tqdvFAoI4hdAhpG4jx_oCe3FA7KN9PCW5-sxtmQa54r7OxsYcBMURgpAZsCT5rn0Ff_gR6ItNhVNdWyco2hi984sV1JE3MphE5f3V2q_zMX1udByHdL7lVnRcGzr60qcIpCbsr7rVObL/s1600/smart+DJ.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9tqdvFAoI4hdAhpG4jx_oCe3FA7KN9PCW5-sxtmQa54r7OxsYcBMURgpAZsCT5rn0Ff_gR6ItNhVNdWyco2hi984sV1JE3MphE5f3V2q_zMX1udByHdL7lVnRcGzr60qcIpCbsr7rVObL/s640/smart+DJ.jpg" width="196" /></a></div>
Above is a "Smart DJ Mix" generated from listening to a "train song" as you can see it started off with Drops of Jupiter then jumped to some other related music... pretty neat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj446_Q_xiGnIuH8qmVGsrJlPtgoXJeXqNbj8wAGBRHIbiFJSTz2LL425_tf6GLv8tYjgJ5N2hVt2aA7X3gSrPyAxOFXmkznMm34LZB2YxxnVwLOOSYSjAM_fUMLXeqbUXny1gYEXEZKHBW/s1600/music.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj446_Q_xiGnIuH8qmVGsrJlPtgoXJeXqNbj8wAGBRHIbiFJSTz2LL425_tf6GLv8tYjgJ5N2hVt2aA7X3gSrPyAxOFXmkznMm34LZB2YxxnVwLOOSYSjAM_fUMLXeqbUXny1gYEXEZKHBW/s640/music.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
But by far the coolest feature that makes this is a must have app is the integration into Windows 8; lowering the volume on your PC (through the keyboard hot keys) will bring up the box seen in the upper left corner in the screenshot above. Finally an app for windows 8 that brings media integration into the volume controls, it shows the track currently being played + Album art as well as Skip/Pause/Previous track options. Plus the obvious fact that since this is a Windows 8 optimized app you can pin it to one side of the screen and your desktop will resize to accommodate it on the left or right side of the screen; giving you a standalone media player that is as un-intrusive as possible. <br />
<br />

With the impending launch of BB10, the all new OS set to raise BB/RIM from the ashes the launch dates and cities have finally been announced. A total of 6 cities have been chosen across the globe to witness the latest products from RIM; the selected cities are: The launch is set to take palce on the morning of January 30th in each of these cities, </div>

The launch is set to take palce on the morning of January 30th in each of these cities, of course Dubai being in the +4 Timezone would make it the first country in the world to see the new BB10 OS along with whatever new devices are set to be revealed alongside it. The launch in Dubai ahs been scheduled to take place in the iconic Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world); a fitting place for the launch of what BlackBerry hopes will carry them into the future.

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOzGaTyY5q5066Xq8nAFKJgScgCx8qJ7SnnNPoPEpfqw-N5OAXvzgtgEQspF8NED7JQmyuD-hudFj71g7uDUaHeHoOg3nSBv2gOyAxcTPyGhMVRYw5Oz1WOzc2K2j6M1euscbNl-XXeBrn/s1600/DSC01285.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOzGaTyY5q5066Xq8nAFKJgScgCx8qJ7SnnNPoPEpfqw-N5OAXvzgtgEQspF8NED7JQmyuD-hudFj71g7uDUaHeHoOg3nSBv2gOyAxcTPyGhMVRYw5Oz1WOzc2K2j6M1euscbNl-XXeBrn/s640/DSC01285.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
One of the greatest design flaws of the Microsoft touch mouse is the obvious lack of. A middle mouse button. Of course this stylish mouse was never meant to be a gaming mouse, but that's no excuse to leave out such an essential design piece when it comes to computer mice.<br />
<br />
I personally abuse the middle mouse button while browsing, mainly to open new tabs or close existing ones (noob tip: clicking with middle mouse button on any link in most browsers will open up the link in a new tab, clicking on the tab itself with the middle mouse button closes said tab). <br />
<br />
The lack of a middle mouse button here severely cut down on my productivity (or lack of) until I found the simple solution. Using the Microsoft keyboard and mouse program/driver that installs when you connect the mouse you can reassign specific gestures to act as a makeshift middle mouse button. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXvADPi4Fg1GCfP8KN7zRxOE4g0WVEAta_wnydMj5LdFmT5Cju-pz6ZXrN1CyuLmTmCfjxO0PSKo5A4cBAUCF5IjGQWVR8Exwph-3kB5uuXVhul49wmG8AWAylsfUEtg-J8d3BWsUgh_L0/s1600/Mouse+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="352" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXvADPi4Fg1GCfP8KN7zRxOE4g0WVEAta_wnydMj5LdFmT5Cju-pz6ZXrN1CyuLmTmCfjxO0PSKo5A4cBAUCF5IjGQWVR8Exwph-3kB5uuXVhul49wmG8AWAylsfUEtg-J8d3BWsUgh_L0/s640/Mouse+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I personally have set "swipe up with two fingers" to act as my middle mouse button, but to each his own. To change the gesture settings simply open the keyboard and mouse center, then under "gesture Settings" select the gesture you'd like to set as the middle mouse click, then simply accept and exit.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh75tVSbTUg7faxLTjyKjsy_7LKJIkPO_DjKouC-9aRQH7VfmDWoQ1UHqpJBKoAq14gbzm207OC3hL1KlH7pFPGSVZwKI8hyphenhyphenmzqtr7JbLQqpiTE0sbpjnk12dckseRQw86iOqDpNWnyhary/s1600/Mouse+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="352" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh75tVSbTUg7faxLTjyKjsy_7LKJIkPO_DjKouC-9aRQH7VfmDWoQ1UHqpJBKoAq14gbzm207OC3hL1KlH7pFPGSVZwKI8hyphenhyphenmzqtr7JbLQqpiTE0sbpjnk12dckseRQw86iOqDpNWnyhary/s640/Mouse+2.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
(It's possible some of these gesture options are only accessible through the new Windows 8 Mouse manager client :/ )</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2ud2XJCkAfQspunrreddxzDpEfJ_Qo8yVJRyJSqUB8Hwl2v7oOVq7-ZQx4aj2M7XVUm1P4TlCYNCnofVQPSzGdmzuDUaAN4_wNYsiGm4mpEv0u-_Ocz4IMxc16uYohqkGrpOBT7HVUsD-/s1600/photo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2ud2XJCkAfQspunrreddxzDpEfJ_Qo8yVJRyJSqUB8Hwl2v7oOVq7-ZQx4aj2M7XVUm1P4TlCYNCnofVQPSzGdmzuDUaAN4_wNYsiGm4mpEv0u-_Ocz4IMxc16uYohqkGrpOBT7HVUsD-/s640/photo.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
In a move that honestly surprised me, Hackulous; the team behind the fan favorite sideloading app "Installous" have closed up shop and said their final good-byes. Attempting to run Installous on any iOS device will now yield the error:<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
"Outdated Version</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Installous will now terminate"</div>
<div align="left" style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Heading over to the Hackulous website; (hackulous.us) will shed some light on the matter, where you're greeted with a solemn and sad message:</div>
<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; width: 628px;"><tbody>
<tr><td align="left" height="24" style="font-size: 0px; height: 24px; padding: 0px;" width="628"><img src="http://hackulo.us/t.png" /></td></tr>

<tr><td align="left"><h2 style="color: rgb(100, 100, 100) !important; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 18px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 10px;">
<singleline label="Title">Goodnight, sweet prince.</singleline> </h2>
<br /><div class="fj">
We are very sad to announce that Hackulous is shutting down. After many years, our community has become stagnant and our forums are a bit of a ghost town. It has become difficult to keep them online and well-moderated, despite the devotion of our staff. We're incredibly thankful for the support we've had over the years and hope that new, greater communities blossom out of our absence. </div>
</td></tr>
<tr><td align="left"><multiline label="Description"><br />With lots of love,<br />Hackulous Team </multiline></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
</repeater></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
However all is not over for the casual jail breaker and self admitted app pirates out there, there remains a number of alternatives to installous that get the job done, some are better some are quite ugly; we'll leave it to you to decide, but a short list are:</div>
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
App VV</div>
</li>
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
App Cake</div>
</li>
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
V share</div>
</li>
<li><div style="text-align: left;">
iFunBox</div>
</li>
</ol>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But this is the end of an era... farewell hackulous. </div>
